What is Limitless Child Foundation
Limitless Child Foundation is a charity with the aim to support school children in northern Ghana with education and learning resources to help them ace their grades in order to attain higher education, lucrative employment or enter into entrepreneurship.
Northern Ghana is one of the most deprived areas in the West African Region with abysmal school performance for many decades. This has led to lots of youth migration and perpetual poverty in the area thereby keeping children in a loop of under achievement.
Our story
When we read ‘Anokye Goes To England’ in our primary school text books on the classroom floor (there were no tables and chairs) in a dusty northern region of Ghana, west Africa, none of us could fathom we would one day have the privilege of walking in the streets of London.
While growing up as children, there was nothing much to aspire to either than the occasional cars that drove past the dusty roads from one township to the other. Ninety percent of the population were peasant farmers who grew what they ate. We went to school and endured the hardship of walking long distance on a daily bases to achieve education.
Our Mission
To help school children in the North East region think of their lives as
‘limitless’ regardless of their socio-economic background.
To help school children in North East Ghana ace their school exams and proceed into tertiary institutions, enabling them attain quality jobs.
To support brilliant children with scholarships for higher education both locally and internationally.
To help young people cultivate the attitude of supporting others whom
they can lend a helping hand.
